Housed in two chassis, the low-noise, high-performance Nuforce P-9 premaplifier is a breakthrough product. One chassis contains three power supplies and microprocessor control logic; the second chassis contains an analog volume control, input selection relays, and sensitive analog circuit components. Externally, the dual P-9 chassis are a stylistically consonant match to the NuForce Ref 9 Series power amplifiers.

The P-9’s ‘Dual Drive’ volume mechanism can be controlled either by a custom-designed, full-function remote interfacing with a digital volume control or by the manual Alps volume pot. A microprocessor control drives the high-performance Alps motorized pot in the analog chassis. A communication protocol constantly senses and feeds back the volume level to the microprocessor to sync-up the level settings on the digitalvolume indicator and Alps volume pot.

Nuforce Reference 18 £3650 each

The Ref 18's every aspect has been evaluated against those of the Ref 9V3SE in order to identify areas available to improvement. Input-stage circuitry, solid-state and passive components have been reconfigured with an eye to providing a quieter, more distortion-free environment, and greater speed via the Cross-Matrix Array (CMA)  capacitor board, the effectiveness of which becomes especially apparent in the supremely fast delivery of musical transients (read more about Nuforce Capacitor Array Technology)

Owing to the CMA's larger size relative to the Ref 9V3SE's Sequential Linear Array, the Ref 18 occupies a commensurately wider chassis that likewise allows for a more effective routing of internal wiring, resulting in a reduction of background noise.

The Ref 9 V3, standard Reference Series mono amp, is available in a black or silver finish.

The Ref 9 V3SE utilizes an improved power capacitor board featuring Nuforce's proprietary low ESR capacitor matrix and high performance capacitors. Ref 9 V3SE adds refinement and delicacy to the already excellent-sounding Ref 9 V3. When used in less than the most revealing systems, the SE's advantages may not be fully realized. As excellent as the Ref 9 V3 is, the Ref 9 V3SE takes its strengths to an even higher level. These include:     Sweeter highs, without any compromise in frequency extension.  A smoother and more palpable midrange, while preserving the natural harmonic structure for which the Ref 9 V3 is famous. The Ref 9 V3SE is one of the few amplifiers in the world that does not impart a signature on the music.  This results in a more natural and relaxed presentation.

The NuForce Reference Series stereo amplifiers are designed for both high-performance stereo and home-theater use. Nuforce Reference IA7 V3 £1499

The NuForce IA-7 V3 is an integrated stereo amplifier with remote control. Because the IA-7 V3 shares the same circuit board as our Reference Series amplifiers, it offers exemplary performance at a most attractive price. The unit is housed in a black or silver sand-blasted anodized aluminum case. We provide control knobs in black and silver for user mixing-and-matching.

In order to achieve superior heat dissipation, the IA-7 V3's internal amplifier board has been designed to conduct heat directly to the top cover instead of the bottom chassis, which is why the IA-7 V3's top cover will be hotter to the touch than other parts of the chassis. After prolonged use, the IA-7 V3 top cover's temperature can reach 54 degree C. This is not a problem. To the contrary, the design provides the internal components with longer-term reliability. compromising the audio signal quality.
